We offer a satisfaction guarantee to demonstrate our confidence in our tutoring services. If you are not completely satisfied with your first session, we will work with you to resolve any concerns, including the option to switch instructors or receive a full refund for that initial session.

3. Refund Eligibility

Full Refund Scenarios

You are eligible for a full refund in the following situations:

  • Cancellation made within 48 hours of initial purchase, before the first session occurs
  • Technical issues on our end prevent service delivery and cannot be resolved promptly
  • Instructor unavailability with no suitable replacement within 7 days
  • Service differs materially from what was advertised or promised
  • Duplicate payment or billing errors

Partial Refund Scenarios

Partial refunds are calculated based on unused sessions and may be provided in these circumstances:

  • Course cancellation after the first session but before 25% completion
  • Medical emergencies or extenuating circumstances preventing course completion (documentation required)
  • Mutual agreement between student and Handstudio for early termination

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not available in the following cases:

  • Course completion of 25% or more (unless extenuating circumstances apply)
  • Student dissatisfaction with effort required or course difficulty
  • Failure to attend scheduled sessions without 24-hour advance notice
  • Violation of our Terms of Use or Code of Conduct
  • Promotional or discounted courses (unless otherwise specified)
  • Digital materials or resources already accessed or downloaded

4. Cancellation Policy

Individual Session Cancellation

Students may cancel or reschedule individual sessions with the following terms:

  • 24+ Hours Notice: Free cancellation or rescheduling, session credit retained
  • 12-24 Hours Notice: Rescheduling available with 50% session credit penalty
  • Under 12 Hours: Session is forfeited unless emergency circumstances documented
  • No-Show: Full session charge applied, no credit issued

Full Course Cancellation

To cancel an entire course package:

  • Submit written cancellation request via email to info@handstudio.world
  • Include course details, enrollment date, and reason for cancellation
  • Refund eligibility will be determined based on the criteria outlined above
  • Processing time is typically 5-7 business days from approval

5. Instructor-Initiated Cancellations

If an instructor cancels a session:

  • You will receive full session credit automatically
  • Priority rescheduling will be offered at your convenience
  • If multiple cancellations occur, we will provide an alternative instructor or full refund
  • Emergency cancellations (illness, technical failure) will be communicated promptly

How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request:

  2. Include your account information, course details, and reason for refund
  3. Provide any supporting documentation if claiming extenuating circumstances
  4. Our team will review your request within 3 business days
  5. You will receive an email confirmation of approval or explanation if denied

Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are processed according to the following schedule:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days after approval
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days after approval
  • Bank Transfers: 7-14 business days after approval

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

7. Transfers and Credits

As an alternative to refunds, we offer flexible options:

  • Course Transfer: Switch to a different subject area with no penalty (once per enrollment)
  • Account Credit: Convert unused sessions to account credit for future use (valid 12 months)
  • Gift Transfer: Transfer remaining sessions to another student (processing fee may apply)
  • Schedule Pause: Temporarily suspend your course for up to 60 days due to personal circumstances

We understand that life can be unpredictable. In cases of documented medical emergencies, military deployment, family crises, or other significant hardships, we will work with you individually to find a fair resolution. 9. Promotional Offers and Discounts

Special promotional rates and discounted courses may have modified refund policies:
